On the morning of June 10, 2026, Chen Bingjun, Director of theOffice of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Chu Xiuwei, Deputy Director of theOffice of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Zhang Yuansong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the International College, along with relevant faculty members, visited the College of Food Science for a research and discussion meeting. Dean Zhang Binjia, Associate Dean Xia Yangyi, Deputy Party Secretary Huang Nan, and relevant faculty members attended the meeting.

The meeting focused on the construction of theChina-Hungary Belt and Road Joint Laboratory of Food Science (in Preparation), aiming to precisely align with development needs and provide professional guidance for enhancing the quality and efficiency of the College's internationalization efforts. During the discussion, the participants engaged in in-depth exchanges on key priorities including the evaluation of the Joint Laboratory, the application for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, short-term student overseas exchange programs, and the development of full English-taught undergraduate programs for international students, identifying existing challenges, clarifying action plans, and detailing implementation measures. The attendees engaged in open and thorough discussions, reaching multiple consensus points.

This research and guidance meeting was highly targeted, practical, and efficient, both clarifying the current direction of work and injecting strong momentum into the College's continued deepening of international cooperation and acceleration of internationalization. Going forward, the College will act on the insights gained from this meeting, consolidate work responsibilities, refine implementation plans, steadily advance the construction of the Joint Laboratory and international exchange and cooperation initiatives to ensure tangible outcomes, and strive to elevate the College's international endeavors to a new level.
